Maria Chepeleva was born and raised in Bakhchisarai, Crimea. In 2006, she graduated from the Crimean Art College named after Samokish, department of easel painting, and then continued her education at the Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts.
Maria’s works are distinguished by the transparency of oil painting, the ease of brushstroke and the masterful combination of form and color. In her paintings you can feel the dynamism and freshness of the unique Crimean nature. The artist's works are done in oil paints, but in the style of the so-called watercolor technique. They are distinguished by the transparency and lightness of the smear, transmitting either a slight sadness, then a bright warm joy of life.
Maria Chepeleva is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia and often participates in international exhibitions and plein airs. The artist’s works are in private collections in many countries of the world.
