Ihor Khmil

Ihor Khmil was born in Ivano-Frankivsk in 1962. From an early age, he showed a talent for painting and later developed his talent in art school. Then he studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts of Ivano-Frankivsk Pedagogical Institute. The wonderful world of art fascinated the artist so much that painting became the main occupation of his life.

The artist lives and works in Ivano-Frankivsk, and often participates in art exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. He has earned a reputation as a true master of still lives in the style of hyperrealism, which impresses with its perfection and accuracy of details. Its colorful urban landscapes are also widely known. The author has created many works with landscapes of his native Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Kyiv, and other cities. His famous paintings include pomegranates, irises in an old vase, illuminated mandarin, and more.
