Sergey Polyakov
Sergey Polyakov was born in St. Petersburg in 1982. Later he moved to Kiev with his family. In 2000 he graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. During his studies at the Academy, Sergey actively participated in various exhibitions and plein airs. Sergey’s paintings seem to be filled with some kind of magic, because when you look at them, you feel those deep feelings that the artist conveyed in his works. His paintings are in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, USA, Canada and China.
«I like to paint both simple landscapes and complex genre paintings, because it is a different kind of inspiration. For me, success is not when a painting is sold at the highest price, but when you enjoy the process of creating it, when you are satisfied with the result and are able to grow as an artist.»
