Alexander Sulimov was born in the city of Kurgan, Russia, in 1963. At sixteen, he decided to follow the example of his father and become an artist. With great inspiration he took up drawing and painting. In 1987, Alexander graduated from an art school with a degree in decoration design.
After working for seven years in a puppet theater in his hometown, he eventually became a freelance artist. In search of inspiration and a relaxed atmosphere, he moved to the city of Dzhigulevsk, where he has been living and creating for the past seven years.
Alexander's paintings were exhibited in Russia (Kurgan, Tolyatti, Moscow) and abroad (Switzerland). His works are also exhibited at the Red Square Gallery in Asheville, USA. Alexander's paintings are in private collections in Russia, Germany, France, Australia, the USA and China.
